Archived data is viewable on-line, organized hierarchically and can be retrieved at any time.

Data archives are copies of active or inactive data from online storage copied to offline storage. Archives are used to keep point in time copies of important data for many reasons including regulatory or book keeping requirements.

Scanning Bundle

Perhaps the biggest archiving challenge organizations face is ensuring that all of their paper documents can be made full-text searchable and digitally archived. The Scanning Bundle makes it easy to digitize and manage your paper documents in a fast, efficient way, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) them which makes them part of your overall collection of searchable electronic information.

These manual indexes can be filled automatically with a date, the number of pages, the language of the document and so on.

Information Storage

The scanning uses an open file format to store it in a digital archive. This format is XML or ASCII text for the manual and automatic index information and open-source TIFF for the original scanned or imported documents. The TIFF image guarantees a 100% copy of the original file, retaining all information such as signatures and written remarks. XML is a non-proprietary format for information storage and exchange. On average, 1GB can store about 15,000 A4 pages (B/W)

Production Environment

The Scanning Bundle is a very scalable solution and is therefore suited for high volume scanning and processing. Multiple clients can be set up and the whole process of scanning with manual and automatic indexing can be divided over different PCs to create a reliable high-volume scanning environment

Digital Copier Bundle

With an ultimate ease of use you will be able to add paper documents to your digital archive. This bundle contains the same broad set of functionalities as the above Scanning bundle with the difference that it supports one-click digital archiving. With one push on the green button of your copier or multifunctional it will send the scanned document automatically into your digital archive.
